Finland DC Planned Maintenance Oct 25th 2021
Dear Customers,

We would like to inform you about planned upcoming maintenance at our data center in Finland.

It will take place on 25.10.2021 00:01 - 06:00EEST

Configuration change will be performed to the Edge routers during the maintenance window for better compatibility and improved performance.

All Ficolo Internet customers are affected by this maintenance.

Tasks:
-Preparation for the maintenance
-Perform configuration change to one fault tolerant router at a time and test functionality
-Overall test of environment functionality after the changes.

Network Connection Issues US Data Center

Our US DC is currently experiencing general network connectivity loss, impacting all our services in that DC as well.

Change in US data center location
Dear Customer,

Update:

We are glad to inform that the previously mentioned KVM and Dedicated Servers have been re-racked and are booted up.

Update:

We are happy to announce all cloud hosting servers are up and running as well
as all VPS servers with a total downtime of 18h.

All KVM and a small number of dedicated servers are yet to be re-racked in the new location and booted up.

We will keep you informed.

We want to inform you about an upcoming change in our US data center location - we will be moving from our current location to Steadfast's main building.

The new location will allow us to deploy a better infrastructure, it will offer us more room to grow, and will have better access to on-site assistance.

This will help us to deliver an overall better service.

The migration process has already begun. We have already moved a lot of our network infrastructure to the new location in order to set up a fully functioning hosting environment. The next step is to migrate all cloud and VPS/KVM customers.

The migration will begin Saturday (August 21st) 00:00 AM EST. The expected interruption of service will be anywhere between 6 and 24 hours.

Note: customers on our cloud platform with accounts larger than 80GB will be moved in the days prior to Saturday. During the moving process, their websites will be available in read-only mode.

US Data Center Hardware Failure
Dear Customers,

We would like to inform you that we are currently experiencing a hardware issue at our USA data center. This could affect random services including websites functionality, email services and connection timeouts.

Our system administrators are working closely with the data center
technicians in order to resolve this issue as fast as possible.

Update: The hardware trouble has been fixed for the time being while our administrators will continue to monitor the equipment closely.

We have scheduled network maintenance for our Chicago DC Facility.

This maintenance is designed to replace the Layer3 routing devices that manage the network.

Customer Impact:

Storage Server Overload
We are currently experiencing overloading with a storage cluster causing time-outs on various services like websites and or files access.

Our system administrators are working closely with the data center technicians in order to resolve this issue as fast as possible.
