Webmail database maintenance
Dear Customers,

Starting at 07:00 am UTC tomorrow morning, Oct 13th will be performing maintenance to our databases which serve all our webmail interfaces.

During this time, access to these interfaces will be interrupted for up to 30 minutes, however these actions do not interfere with mail flow in any way.

This does not have any effect on IMAP or POP services.

Finland routers planned maintenance
Internet edge routers maintenance 12.10.2020 00:01 - 06:00 EEST

Severity and user impact: Major - Maintenance will be done to one fault tolerant router at a time. However there can be minor outages in customers connection during the maintenance window.

Maintenance action will be performed to one fault tolerant Internet edge router at a time. During the maintenance window connection sessions may move from one fault tolerant router to another. All Ficolo Internet customers are affected by this maintenance.

Tasks:
-Preparation for the maintenance
-Perform planned maintenance action to one fault tolerant router at a time
-Overall test of environment functionality after the changes.

Network Connectivity Issues in the US DC

Deployment of new Anti-DDoS system
Dear Customers,

We are deploying a new Distributed-Denial-of-Service Protection system (Anti-DDoS) that will take place on 10.09.2020 at 00.01 EEST.

No action is required from the customers during the replacement from the old system to the upgraded Anti-DDoS system,
estimated downtime for the replacement will be maximum approx. 30 minutes.

Goals:
-Possibility to react detected attacks faster and with various methods.
-Better protection against DDoS attacks targeted towards customer environments
-Better segregated DDoS protection solutions, to avoid single attack target protective actions possibly causing unwanted effects towards other customer systems.

Dedicated Servers PDU Upgrade

We are currently in the process of upgrading the Power Distribution Units at one of the racks in our US Data Center to increase resilience and stability.

While this is in progress, some dedicated servers located there may need to be power cycled, while they are being moved to the new units.

We are currently experiencing an issue with one of our database servers in Australia.

This can lead degraded or loss of services for the clients on the server.
